The pick

I got tired of looking at the bottom of the pool and seeing the same line of grit sitting there no matter how much I skimmed. That was the thing that pushed me toward a cordless robotic cleaner in the first place, and it is the main reason this one makes sense for an inground pool owner who wants less manual work and more time actually using the pool.

What I like most is that it takes over the jobs I do not want to keep doing by hand. It cleans the floor, climbs the wall, and works along the waterline, which means it is not just chasing the easy debris in the shallow end and calling it done. That matters when you have a pool that collects everything from leaves to fine dust. The dual filtration setup is also a practical touch. Bigger bits do not clog it up as fast, and the finer filter helps with the stuff that usually lingers after the obvious debris is gone. I like equipment that gives me a reason to trust it after the first pass, and this kind of cleaner does that better than the cheap drag-around vacuums that need constant babysitting.

The smart navigation is another reason I would recommend it. Pool cleaners can be annoying when they bounce around without any plan, miss the same corner over and over, and leave you wondering whether you should have just done the job yourself. This one feels more deliberate. It covers ground in a way that makes sense, and the app scheduling is handy if you like setting a routine and forgetting about it. I do not need another thing that asks me to think about it every time I want a clean pool. I want to drop it in, let it run, and come back to water that looks better than it did an hour earlier.

It is also nice not dealing with a hose or a cord stretched across the yard. Cordless pool gear has spoiled me a little bit. Once you get used to not wrestling with tangles and setup, it is hard to go back. The cleaner feels easier to use because of that alone. I can see this being especially useful for anyone who keeps up with their pool regularly but does not want to spend a whole weekend on maintenance every time the weather kicks up a mess.

The one thing I would call out is that cordless convenience comes with a tradeoff. You do have to think a little more about charging and run timing than you would with a wired unit, and that means it is not the sort of thing you just forget in the corner for months. It is not a flaw so much as the price of not having a cable in the way. Still, if you are the kind of person who likes to set up a device once and never think about battery levels again, that part may take some getting used to.

I think this is best for someone with an inground pool who wants a cleaner that handles the regular mess without turning pool care into a chore. If your pool picks up floor debris, wall buildup, and that stubborn line at the waterline, this is the kind of machine that can save you a lot of manual brushing. I would not call it a luxury if you already spend time keeping a pool up. I would call it a sensible tool that does a job I would rather not do myself, and that is usually enough for me to recommend something.
